Our Garden

Seems like these days I am a single mother in the evenings due to my husband spending hours and hours in the garden. Of course, Livi likes to help water at times. He is growing corn, peppers, tomatoes, beans, zucchini, squash and pumpkins. We also have lots of raspberries and cherries too. Can't wait to sample these delicious treats!

Awesome Parents!!

At the St. Bernadette Auction, some of us parents got together and bid on and won a "Mariner's Game with the Teachers" package for our kids. We decided to rent a limo for the kids and it was a BIG hit - they loved it!! Maybe again next year...well that's up to the teachers!

We drove to Vacherie to see Oak Alley, a beautiful southern Plantation. Went to the quarter and saw the Cathedral in Jackson Square. Can't wait to go back in October...

Kristin & I went down to New Orleans for Stephanie's High School Graduation. We had a blast and got to meet her boyfriend "The Boy" Jace . I can't believe that she is already graduating, has turned 18 and is going to college soon!! Seems like not too long ago she was a 5 year old little girl. Other than a couple of 5am thunderstorms, the weather was good. Spent some time with Nonny & Dwayne, Aunt Patsy and my grandparents as well as saw the sights of the city.
